As I have used my dowsing rod, many questions came from my own concerns and from people who wanted to know what there was to believe.  Some facts have come from the use of the rod, and others from special tests that I have conducted.  Many of these facts are puzzling.  Some of these facts are listed below:

  •       A long gone brick pattern of a hearth can be defined.

  •       The rod will respond to PVC pipe laying on the ground.

  •       The rod will respond to a line painted with utility marker paint, after it dries.

  •       The rod will respond to Belgian block laid on the ground.

  •      The rod will not respond to new brick laid in a line on the ground.

  •      The rod will respond to colonial brick laid in a line on the ground.

  •       The rod will respond to the outline of a recent grave, but the lines will fade as the decades pass on.

  •       The inside and outside of a colonial brick foundation can be defined.

  •       Pipes can be traced that lay beneath concrete and blacktop.

  •    Overhead suspended copper water pipes can be traced.

  •    The rod does not respond to empty copper pipe laid on the ground.

  •    The rod does not respond to empty iron pipe laid on the ground.

  •   The rod does not respond to co-axial wire laid on the ground.

  •    The rod will respond to a sudden change in ground level (concrete, blacktop and soil).
