Welcome to This Web Site!

This site has been established to share experiences and facts relating to what is known as dowsing.  Dowsing is most well known as the method that some people are able to use to find water.  This site does not address that method or skill.  This site addresses the uses of an “L” shaped wire rod (see below) to locate objects in the ground.  In some cases the objects are no longer there, but an impression of some kind, that can be detected, has been left behind.  I do not know, and no one has been able to explain to me what makes a bent wire respond as it does.  I have no belief that there is a spiritual connection.  The pages of this Web site detail the experiences that I have had and how I have learned to use this phenomena as an everyday tool and to support research of a site prior to starting an archaeology project.  I am now in the process of performing tests that will give me a better understanding of how the process can be improved to support various research projects, in addition to supporting archaeology.
